The game will take place on March 8th, 2025, at Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas, offering fans a chance to witness a high-stakes, action-packed contest between two powerhouse programs.
This game is part of Corrigan Sports Enterprises widely popular College Lacrosse Live Series, which continues to provide fans across the nation an opportunity to see premier college lacrosse teams in action. As part of the series, the matchup between the Towson Tigers and the Virginia Cavaliers promises to deliver top-tier talent and fierce competition in an exciting new location.
Lars Tiffany, Head Coach of the Virginia Cavaliers, expressed his excitement about the upcoming game, “We are thrilled to be in Texas and to be a part of the College Lacrosse Live Series. We are fortunate to be able to compete against a formidable Towson team that is loaded with returning talent while exposing our style of lacrosse to a region of this nation that has been critical to our recruiting successes. Two of our current men, Matt Nunes and Reese Stepanian, hail from the Houston area, and more are coming to Charlottesville in the near future. We are grateful for Corrigan Sports Enterprises including us in this unique experience.”
Shawn Nadelen, Head Coach of Towson University’s lacrosse team, also shared his thoughts on the event, “We are very excited to bring Towson Lacrosse to Houston as part of the College Lacrosse Live Series! The lacrosse community in Texas will get to experience two elite Division I lacrosse programs battle in the Lone Star State. We hope this will help grow the game in Texas, which continues to increase its footprint on the lacrosse landscape. Towson Lacrosse is looking forward to being a part of this great event!”
The event is also made possible thanks to the enthusiastic support of local organizations. Jeremy Platt, a long time All-America Lacrosse Coach, spoke about the significance of the game for the lacrosse community in Texas: “We are thrilled that Corrigan Sports Enterprises is bringing the College Lacrosse Live Series to Houston,” Platt said. “Texas has become a growing hotbed for lacrosse, and events like this help continue to build excitement and inspire the next generation of players. We’re looking forward to seeing the talent of both Towson and Virginia on display in our home state.”
