Innovative Lacrosse Training Leader Joins Forces with Premier Collegiate Lacrosse Event for an Unforgettable Game Weekend Experience

[Elkridge, MD] – February 14, 2025 – FaceOff Academy, the nation’s leading lacrosse training program focused on face-off specialists, is excited to announce a strategic partnership with the 2025 College Lacrosse Live Series. As part of this exciting collaboration, FaceOff Academy will host an exclusive clinic on game weekend, providing an invaluable opportunity for lacrosse players of all levels to sharpen their skills and gain insights from top-level professionals. The FaceOff Academy’s main objective since 2012 has been to provide all areas of the United States with the highest level of FO coaching and knowledge. They are also praised for their ability to build talent in nontraditional hotbeds like Texas, Florida, or California.

The 2025 College Lacrosse Live Series brings together elite collegiate lacrosse programs, creating an unparalleled environment for fans, players, and coaches to experience the best of the sport. This year’s matchups include:

Towson vs Virginia – March 8 (Houston, TX)
Denver vs Duke – March 22 (Dallas, TX)

With this new partnership, FaceOff Academy will elevate the event by offering a hands-on clinic designed to improve players’ face-off technique, strategy, and overall lacrosse IQ. The FOA system has been at the heart of the FaceOff position since 2011. They have developed over 1000 NCAA Faceoff men using a layered approach to coaching that produces epic results. At every FOA event, athletes will be exposed to:

Controlling the mental and emotional part of the game.
Increase Hand Speed and reaction ability to the whistle.
Optimize Stance and technique using years of collegiate/pro/international experience.
Expose players to countless live rep situations against varying opponents.
Allow players the option to take meaningful faceoffs in pressure situations once they are prepared for the challenge.

“We are thrilled to partner with the College Lacrosse Live Series for this exciting opportunity,” said Greg Gurenlian, Founder of FaceOff Academy. “This collaboration not only allows us to connect with the next generation of lacrosse players but also gives participants the chance to learn from some of the best face-off specialists in the game. We’re looking forward to working alongside the College Lacrosse Live Series to make this event even more memorable.”

The clinic will feature expert coaching from FaceOff Academy’s staff, including Greg Gurenlian, Jerry Ragonese and Trevor Baptiste. Participants will have the chance to work directly with these decorated professionals, gaining essential skills and strategies to enhance their performance on the field.

“The College Lacrosse Live Series is committed to providing an all-encompassing experience for both fans and players,” said Ryan Corrigan, Director of Sales for Corrigan Sports Enterprises. “Partnering with FaceOff Academy will add a unique and valuable dimension to the event, allowing players to improve their face-off skills in an immersive, game-weekend atmosphere. We’re excited for what this partnership will bring to the table!”

The FaceOff Academy clinic will take place during the game weekend, and registration is now open for players of all skill levels. For more information and to register, please visit https://collegelacrosselive.com/faceoff-academy-clinic/
