(January 30, 2025) — Corrigan Sports Enterprises is proud to announce that the One Love Foundation will serve as the official charity partner for the 2025 College Lacrosse Live Series. This partnership reinforces the commitment of both organizations to foster positive change, empower communities, and support the growth of women’s lacrosse.
The One Love Foundation, founded in 2010, is dedicated to ending relationship violence through education, awareness, and advocacy. The foundation was created in honor of Yeardley Love, a UVA lacrosse player whose tragic death in 2010 from relationship violence sparked a movement to raise awareness about the issue. Yeardley, who attended Notre Dame Prep in Towson before going on to play at the University of Virginia, is remembered for her vibrant spirit and love for the game. Her legacy continues through the work of the One Love Foundation, which empowers young people to recognize and prevent unhealthy relationships, as well as promote respect, equality, and kindness.
“We are incredibly proud to partner with the One Love Foundation for the 2025 College Lacrosse Live season,” said Lee Corrigan, President of Corrigan Sports. “One Love’s mission of promoting healthy relationships and supporting young people aligns perfectly with our values, and we are honored to have them as our charity partner. This partnership provides a unique opportunity to engage lacrosse fans, athletes, and the community in raising awareness.
“Sharon Love, Yeardley’s mother and Founder of the One Love Foundation, said, “We are grateful and so excited for the One Love Foundation to be the charity partner of the College Lacrosse Live event. We can’t wait to share the mission of the One Love Foundation with a national audience and to raise awareness that puts an end to relationship abuse.“
The University of Virginia vs. University of Maryland game at Notre Dame Prep is one of four exciting events in the 2025 College Lacrosse Live season. This game holds special significance because it’s a matchup of Yeardley’s college program playing against her hometown team at her high school alma mater on the field that bears her name.
The series will also feature major matchups in Houston, Dallas, and Long Island. Each game will include a segment highlighting the work of the One Love Foundation, encouraging fans to learn more about how they can get involved and support the cause.
Tickets for the Virginia vs. Maryland Women’s Lacrosse game, as well as the full College Lacrosse Live season, are available for purchase in early 2025.
